Sanbornton Highway Garage

Construction is complete at the new 10,000 square-foot Department of Public Works Building located at 60 Hunkins Pond Road in Sanbornton, NH. Riess Construction, working with Construction Manager, Conneston Construction, Inc located in Gilford, NH and Architect, Misiaszek Turpin, of Laconia, NH, worked through the design and construction of this new facility that will house the Town of Sanbornton’s Public Works Department.

Riess Construction contracted with CCI for the supply and erection of the pre-engineered metal building portion of this project. Special consideration was given to thermal efficiency and the use of an insulated metal panel wall system that was chosen. This building consists of five bays to house vehicles and equipment.  It also contains new offices, break room, locker-room, parts and mechanical rooms and a mezzanine for miscellaneous storage. Town road agent, John Thayer, is excited to be able to place most of the town’s expensive trucks and road equipment inside the building and protect them from the elements.
