1998 – Present
On October 1, 10998 Riess Construction started doing business. Riess Construction is a family owned and operated business. My brothers Mike and Rob are my partners. I handle most of the administrative tasks, all the metal building sales and project management, along with most all the paper pushing. We have grown over the past years, basing our business philosophy on strong family values and hard work. With the hard work and support of our employees the future is looking bright.
1987 – 1998
Joined Construx, Inc. of Plymouth, New Hampshire, a start up company, as its first full-time employee. Construx was to be a construction management company. Two months into the start of this company we shifted to becoming a metal building erection company. I was charged with hiring, forming and implementing company policies and procedures, purchasing, etc. In 1989 I was promoted to General Manager, in charge of metal building sales, accounts receivable, and overseeing our woodworking division. In 1995 I was instrumental in implementing our safety committee and our aggressive safety program.
1995 – 1987
Worked for Sugarloaf Mountain Builders of Plymouth, New Hampshire, started as a carpenter’s helper, being promoted to carpenter, then framing foreman, and leave as a floating exterior punchlist technician.
1980 – 1985
Worked as chef/manager of the Ye Welcome Inn Restaurant and Lounge of Plymouth, New Hampshire.

Plymouth Regional High School, Plymouth, New Hampshire
Graduated with strong emphasis on business studies and two years of building trades curriculum.
New Hampshire Community Technical Institute, Concord, New Hampshire
Successfully completed Intro to Auto Cad 12.
U.S. Department of Labor and Health / Occupational Safety and Health Administration
Successfully completed a 10-hour OSHA course in Construction Safety & Health
Trade Organizations:
MBCEA-NEC – Metal Building Contractors & Erectors Association, New England Chapter. elected to the Board of Directors in 1999. Served four years, as Vice President 2003-2004 and as President for 2005-2006. Since then, I have been serving as past president. I have been asked to serve on the National Board of Directors.

PRHS – Plymouth Regional High School vocational program advisory council.
Other Interests:
Riding motorcycles with friends and family, snowmobiling. I enjoy time with my wife, sons, granddaughters, nieces and nephews whenever possible.
