Work History:
1998 – Present
Co-owner of Riess Construction. I manage the commercial wood framing projects for our family owned company. When my brothers Pat, Rob and I started Riess Construction my specialty was in commercial wood construction. Over the past twelve years I have overseen the construction of dormitories, restaurants, banks, courthouses, town offices and several types of homes from custom to timber framed to modular.
1994 – 1998
Started and managed the woodworks division of Construx of Plymouth, New Hampshire. Duties included full hiring, estimating, scheduling, sales and management of a $1 million a year division.
1989 – 1994
Owned a commercial/residential construction company with four employees in central New Hampshire doing approximately $500,000 volume annually.
1978 – 1989
Worked for Sugarloaf Mountain Builders of Plymouth, New Hampshire, starting as a laborer, being promoted to carpenter, then framing foreman, and in 1983, to project superintendent until the company closed in May 1989.

Construction Emphasizes:
Commercial Wood Framing - The majority of our wood projects are working for Contract Managers or Commercial Projects. Riess Construction is hired for the framing portion of the projects. I take great pride in the quality of our work, and I am pleased the majority of our work is for repeat clients. Riess is hired for our quality, price, safety and on time completions.
Residential Wood Framing - Working as a sub-contractor Riess Construction was hired to frame several custom homes in the Lakes Region including framing, exterior trim, decks, siding as well as roofing.
Panelized - Riess Construction has completed numerous projects utilizing panelized construction. The use of this material speeds up the building process and allows us to untilize our 40-ton crane. This process increases our efficiency and our job safety.
Foam Paneling – Responsible for onsite management of safety, supervision and instalation of Metal Span foam insulation panel at Velcro’s 250,000 sq ft addtion. The addition included interior panel partitions and interior firewall partitions.
